April 27th & 29th- ‘Corduroy’ was shown on the big screen at the Indianapolis International Film Festival Thursday and Saturday. Kendall and Falcon were on hand to answer questions after the series of five Indiana short films were shown. Four other filmmakers were on hand as well. The Indianapolis Star listed the five short films among the “must see” films in the festival.
On May 2nd at 7:30 pm at Landmark’s Century Center Cinema at the Midwest Film Festival, Corduroy made its Chicago Debut! Falcon and Kendall were on hand with Derek Bontreger, the film’s star. Festival co-founder and coordinator, Mike McNamara did an excellent job with the entire showing of comedic shorts as well as fielding questions after each of the short films’ screenings.
The Midwest Independent Film Festival is the nation’s largest monthly film festival, presenting audiences with the finest independent cinema in the Midwest every first Tuesday of the month.
This weekend the Corduroy crew will be heading down to Indy to participate in the Indianapolis International Film Festival. It is an exciting trip for us, because last year we had pledged to be participating in the festival as writers/directors. We had come down as a part of the Lonesome Jim and the Pearl Diver crews, but were hungry to participate more actively in the festival.
